Trump’s 2024 Campaign is Dead

Trump cancelled his press conference where he was going to present “evidence” that the 2020 election was rigged/stolen/whatever. He’s also not participating in the Republican debate.

His problem is that his “campaign” has basically been boiled down (by him) to a single issue: The 2020 election was rigged (and everybody is out to get him cuz reasons). In fact, it was not, and the people out to “get him” are just enforcing the law.

The problem (for his current campaign) is that he basically has nothing else, really, to talk about, except this “issue”, and he’s finally learning that he cannot continue to spew his lies about it. If he does, he’ll end up in jail, pending trial. If he attacks/threatens the people involved in the legal processes against him, he’ll go to jail, pending trial. It would be quite a challenge to hold a rally from a jail cell.

Given that he cannot rant and rave about how the last election was rigged, what is he gonna talk about?

If he holds a rally and doesn’t talk about the trials, or attack the people involved with the trials, or talk about how the election was “stolen”, what is he going to talk about? Hillary’s emails? The wall?

His “campaign” is dead.

But we still have to worry about his MAGA cult followers who will try to damage the next election, and/or just do random violence cuz they’re super pissed off.
